Thanks for reccing the Ruthana Emrys story. It was lovely to revisit it, and I feel like I like it more each time I encounter it. I searched back in my journal and I first read it in 2014! It's a rare good feeling to read a story that assumes background information about Judaism as a matter of course. It makes me feel like a kid in elementary school saying, "I know! I know!"
