Well despite the fact that we tried to be careful and have the kid isolate in her room, all of the rest of us came down with covid too. R and I both tested positive on Thursday and E on Friday. Luckily we were all able to get paxlovid, so it could have been worse. I have not had any fever and only a little bit of a stuffy nose but I've had a lot of fatigue and brain fog so I've just been sitting around doing not much all week. Being sick but not having any "real" symptoms always makes me feel like I'm just making it all up, so that's not very nice.

The kid is feeling better and testing negative so she is attending the second week of her two week summer camp this week. R is also on the mend. I'm on the mend but very slowly. Yesterday I had enough focus to read for a little bit! (I stared a really interesting book about the silk road and I've been so upset that I can't really read more of it right now)

I hope you'll feel better soon! I've heard this about "brain fog" a lot. A friend caught this shit at the beginning of the year and basically spent months just not following conversations or staring at her computer screen not able to do a thing there. It's finally okay again but it was scary and she was also incredibly pissed off because it was her boss's fault - he'd come to work obviously extremely sick but being like, "Noo it's just a little cold!" 눈_눈
