Spellchecking Woes

Firefox spelling checking isn't working in my e-mail. It works everywhere else on the internet, but not in my squirrel mail based email. I updated Firefox recently and that's when it stopped working. I keep forgetting though -- so I've probably sent out several emails with tons of misspellings. I really rely on spellcheck, because of my auditory processing disorder. With out it every thing I write is full of spelling errors. So far this post I've used spellcheck for at lest 7 words (not counting spellcheck which I think is ok, but Firefox doesn't like.)
