Reading about Fairies

I seem to be reading a lot of books about fairies lately. It wasn't my plan or anything it just seems to have happened. I read Among Others, The Perilous Gard, and I started the October Daye series. Just now I'm re-reading Changeling by Delia Sherman, before I read the sequel. (All of these books also have female protagonists, but then I think most of the books I read do.) It is interesting to see all the different takes on the same myths.
