New month, new goals! But first lets look back at last months goals:

1) Sew two shirts for the kid
Done! (one, two0

2)Get the space bees quilt ready to be quilted
No progress since the mid month check in.

3) Write two posts talking about what I've been observing in the built and natural environment around me
This month both of my posts ended up being about built and natural environments in fiction.

4) Post my fic
Done! (To Live Without Regrets)

5) Job hunting
Meh, I did a little bit of this I really wanted to do more. I don't think having this vague goal was very helpful though.

6) Work through lesson 10 8 in Classical Chinese for Everyone
I only got through lesson 7. I'm still figuring out how to balance different bit of my language self study. It's hard.

Well this has not been a very good month for me goals wise. I hope October will be better. Here are my new goals:

1) Finish the Space Bees quilt
This needs some more setup, quilting and then binding.

2) Finish Chicken quilt top
I've sewn 6.5 of the nine blocks for this already so hopefully finishing up won't be that much work.

3) Write two posts talking about what I've been observing in the built and natural environment around me

4) Write something about my experience with language self study as an adult with APD
This probably won't be very long but I want to talk about this a bit more

5) Work through lesson 10 in Classical Chinese for Everyone
That's three lessons, which seams manageable, I hope.

5) The kid's birthday
This coming up this month! I hope I can make it a good day, even if there's still a lot of restrictions in place.

6) Halloween!
Gotta figure out a costume for the kid, and maybe do some trick-or-treating.

I hope I'm more successful at my goals this month than I was last month.
