So I actually went to IKEA and looked at bookshelves. Nothing they have fits very well into the space I have. Also bookshelves are expensive. Other places I poked around at online seem even more so, with out really having better sizes. Still pondering the options. Any advice would be welcome.

I have plastic bookshelves that I got from a dollar store and also some from Target--they are not a forever solution and I need to replace them, but they are currently working.

I have and really like these: http://www.staples.com/Staples-Solid-Wooden-Bookcases/product_SS990514?cmArea=FEATURED:SC2:CG31 . They are pretty expensive, however. But, they fold up! And stack!
