June Goals Check In

forestofgloryWell its the middle of the month time for a goals check in!
1)Sew a shirt for my friend's toddler godson
Done! Picture here
2)Bind and finish the Wedding present quilt
Also done! picture
3)Finish the rainbow baby quilt
I have done the 1st step of of this which is basting and I plan to do the quilting this week, so I'm on track to finish this month
3.5) Stretch Goal: One or two baby gifts
I have sewn most of one of these! I would have finished it but it turned out that I have run out of snaps so I ordered more and am waiting for them to arrive.
4)Write two posts talking about what I've been observing in the built and natural enviroment around me
Well it really didn't feel right to natter about the weather and my walks and what the last couple of weeks. But I have drafted something and will post this week.
5)write something long form
Well I wrote a few words of a new fic? Maybe that counts?
6)Activism
I have donated to a bunch of different orgs, written a letter to my city councilmember, and written to the OTW board. So that's a good start. I have been talking to several friends about the OTW issues and will probably do some follow up there. At the very least I plan follow up during the upcoming board elections. I also want to write another letter to an official, and be better about talking to my kid about racism.
7)Read Five Online SFF shorts(stretch goal read ten)
No progress. My brain really wasn't in the right space the 1st half of the month. Hopefully I catch up in the second half
