I really enjoyed the muffler man comic! "Lowbrow" architecture is so fascinating.

Glad you linked it! That same author has graphic memoir about driving across the US which features a lot of roadside attractions.

That article about freeways got me thinking about what they've done to Oakland and to a lesser degree, San José.
