Well I have not been reading or watching much of anything recently. I've just found it very hard to focus on anything new. But I have consumed a little bit, and I don't want to let too much time go by between round ups.
The Empress of Salt and Fortune by Nghi Vo-- I got a little bit of focus back so I thought I’d try reading a novella. This is maybe a bit more complex than I wanted. There’s frame story about a cleric recording items, and the main story is about an Empress. I love the attention to material details this set up gives us! This was very beautiful, but I did struggle a bit to have enough focus to read it.
Star Trek: Voyager For a while N was having a very hard time at bedtime, and of course she’s home all day so we were not really able to watch this. But that seems to be resolved for now, so we’ve been watching again. We finished season 5!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons -- R has a switch and got this game for himself, but the whole household has been playing it. We share an island so R gets all the main quests and the rest of us just wander around and gather things. But it's fun and mostly relaxing except when I have to stop the kid from stealing all my flowers.
Silver Spoon by Hiromu Arakawa I finished my reread and got all the way through volume 13. This is so good! I’m sad that there are only going to be two more volumes. After we got through the 1st year of arcultural school time started going by really fast which confused me a little, but it is otherwise excellent. The food here makes me hungry a lot!
