January Goals Update

Generally, I like to do my goal updates on the 15th of the month, but I'm working tomorrow and the next day and don't think I'll have time for an update. So I'm going to do it today.

1) Update my Resume
I'm making slow progress on this, working on in for ten minutes every non-work weekday. I've outlined the new things to add but I have to work on polishing them.

2) Post all my 2019 in review posts
So far I've posted one on writing, and one on watching. I also have one on reading in the works.

3) Sew a shirt for the kid
I have this all cut out and the sewing machine threaded with right color thread.

4) Read or DNF all the 2019 short SFF I have bookmarked
I've made negative progress on this, having read some best of 2019 short SFF and bookmarked more things. Oh, well.

5) Plan G’s vist!
G is my gradschool friend who is coming for a short visit at the end of the month. I have done this! I even wrote down the plan so I won't forget. We are going to go to some fun places and eat some nice food!

6) Take the cat to the vet
I haven't done this yet, but I have calling to make an appointment on my to-do list for this week.

7) School Enrollment Paperwork
This new since the start of the month, needs to be taken care of soon. My kid will be going to transitional kindergarten next year, and I need to get all the paperwork in order. It's kind of complex. They need three (3) profs of address plus a couple of forms to fill out. I have been gathering the paperwork but I still have more things to track down.


Well, I can't help but wish that I'd made a bit more progress on things. However this week is my last week at my job, so I'll have more free time to work on this stuff after that. So hopefully I can still get all these things done.

My gosh, that sounds like a lot accomplished for the final time at a job, which is always a liminal state.

What a wonderful monthly routine. Ugh, I'm working on my Resume as well; the format I chose doesn't seem to work so I'll move to another, but at least I've got more things down. So pleased to hear you get a visit from a gradschool friend! No doubt you'll do all sorts of wonderful things together. Hope being done with the job has helped in the time department for you. =]
