*It's going to be Worldcon this weekend! I've surprisingly excited about this considering 1)I'm not going and 2) I went last year and it was fun but also a stressful time. But so many people I know are going! I hope they all have a wonderful times and get lots of in person hugs!

I'm excited for the business meeting to happen. The Agenda is here its pretty long this year. There's two things there that am especially excited about on there one is the Best Game or Interactive Experience Hugo which provided some technical support for the proposal, and the other is the getting rid of the nominations deadline for the Hugos. I hope they both pass this year!

I'm also excited for the Hugo awards ceremony. I'm going to watch the livestream, there will be good speeches and pretty outfits. Also this the first year that the Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult book will be given out with proper name! I'm excited to see what kind of physical award they come up with. (I helped create the award so seeing be a real thing always makes me happy.)

*Preschool is now out for two weeks. Also we are having a warm spell. Yesterday we did take the kid to ride on the little steam trains in the park nearby so that was fun. But doing things outside is very melting.

*Goal update: I finished listening to all the music for the June project recs! I have read one piece of short SFF online so far this month. I'm making slow progress on the Guardian food project -- I've watched one a bit episodes. And I finished quilting the baby quilt, and also trimed the edges. Next step is ironing fabric to make the binding which I hope to do today. (I also got distracted and made the back for another quilt -- which was pretty fast and simple)
