My New Year's Eve

forestofgloryYesterday I went over to my parents place around noon. My mom and I went on an expedition. We walked to a nice neighborhood place for lunch then continued on to Dark Carnival, a SF book store, where my mom bought me a whole pile of books.
Then we had break for a bit. Latter my mom showed me some pictures and I helped her arrange the squares for her quilt.
I went out for dinner with my family. We walked to the place down town and R met us there. The place we had wanted was closed, so we went next door. They had special pre fix menu. I think I would have preferred more options, but I still had a nice meal.
After dinner I came back home with R and we hung out for a while. We ended up waiting for the New Year to start reading on the sofa. A few minutes before midnight we turned on the TV so we could watch the ball drop at times square. It's bit silly to watch it time delayed but it seem like the thing to do.
