forestofgloryI went to my doctor for a routine physical yesterday. Going to the doctor was a long process. It's about half and hours drive form here, and I left early because I was worried about getting lost finding the office in the hospital. I was nervous because I had never driven form here, and had gotten lost driving there in the past. I relied on the car's GPS and it worked fine. Then they where running late and I didn't get seen until half an hour after my appointment. I brought my book and read in the waiting room. I did get to see some cute babies who where also waiting.
My left arm is sore today because they gave me a tetanus shot. Other than that the physical was ok, My doctor told me to exercise more and try to go to bed on time. She also gave me some stronger pain killers for the really bad migraines. Also I have to get my ears cleaned out.
After my doctors appointment we went to a goldsmith yesterday and have arranged for rings. R's mom gave us her and R's dad's wedding rings, we originally wanted them recast as new rings but the kind saleswomen explained that there wasn't really enough gold to do that so we are just getting the rings re-sized. I think it is very nice to have rings with history.
Then we told a stroll along Piedmont Ave, which is long commercial street in Oakland. We shared a large ice cream cone and poked our noises into lots of shops.
Then I went and cooked dinner with my Honorary Grandfather. It was nice to get to spend time with him.
