Yesterday I went to out tea with a friend. There is a new shop with lots of interesting teas to try, so we checked that out. The tea was good, but I was disappointed with there baked goods. It made me miss British tea shops. Still it was lovely to chat over tea.

Then I went to my mothers and fed her and a few friends the very belated birthday cake I had made. (Her birthday was in January.) There was pleasant talk over cake.
