Daily Doings

forestofglorySo I interviewed for a summer job while I was home between driving back form Iowa and flying to the UK. However I haven't heard anything so yesterday I went to talk with some people I used volunteer for about helping them out this summer. So now I get to write a lit review about street trees and public health. How cool is that?
After my interview I walked to my mother's house (It was lovely out) and ran errands with her. We went to the cheese board and had pizza. It had asparagus and mushrooms on it and was delicious. Then we bought cheese and chatted with cheese board members. We got some great cheeses for an upcoming multiple birthday dinner. Next we stopped briefly at Trader Joe's, and then my mom ran into the vets to get some dog food. We went home and dropped off the the cheese, then we went to OSH and the Ecology center to look for birthday presents.
We came home again and walked a block to a cafe to meet a friend. We had nice talk.
When back to the house and I read a bit, then got picked up by R's mom who was doing errands with her grandchildren on that side of town.
In the evening we worked on the wedding invites. I'm feeling kinda stressed about them. Mostly that they haven't gone out yet and people are bugging me about them. And also because there are not very fancy. We are printing them ourselves and they aren't are artistic at all. And I'm a little jealous of all the supper pretty invites, and little sad that ours are boring. I mean I know its not something I really want to spend time or money on, and that it will be fine. But still stress arggh!
