Now that I'm basically done with classes I've had more time for reading novels. (I've tried to find a little bit of reading time, even in the crunch-time because reading is good for my mental health.)
So last night I finished In Ashes Lie by Marie Brennan. It's the second book in the Onyx Court series which I'm really liking so far. The series has an interesting structure: each book is set in faerie London about a 100 years apart. The 1st one was set in Elizabethan times, and this one was set during the English Civil War. There are two more books published as well.
I like the setting a lot. I also think the characters are great, and the plots have interesting conflicts. I always find it hard to say why I like books, but I do like these.
