Writing Update

First of all I have a new post up at ladybusiness "This Made me Think: A Rec list of Critical Essays" This is part of my write a rec list every month project. It's pretty short, but I wanted something quicker to write.

I think next I'm going to do a series of Women of CQL/MDZS of rec lists. There's too much fic for just one list! I haven't figured out how I want to divide up everything but I think the first list is going to focus on the older generations. I've been reading some stuff, but I have lot more downloaded and may more tags to poke at. (Feel free to rec me stuff)

I've got a draft of an essay about the importance of cosy SFF. I want to go over it a bit more before I ask for feedback, but I'm excited about the project.

I really want to post fic for End OTW Racism. It's two week event so hopefully I can write something quick. Doing the flash exchange gave me more confidence that I can write something for a short deadline. I have few ideas, but I need to actually write them.

Ohh Women of CQL/MDZS always deserve more love! :D

You likely know them already, but I can rec several by KouriArashi – she’s got a Wen Qing centric one (Searching for tomorrow), and then there’s several that have JYL as one of the protagonists (Picking up the Pieces, mainly, but also Made for each other which is MingLi and a recent one where the core transfer goes wrong).

Then there’s "Mianmian the disaster lesbian" by likeshipsonthesea. Or "The Needle and the Nail" by littledust.

I also remember some I’ve read where Baoshan sanren was a background character for the main WangXian “drama”, uhh… "These things unseen" by bonyenne, or "Fish & Wild Geese" by impossibletruths.
