September goal check in

It's the middle of the month! Time to check in with my goals.

1) Sew two shirts for the kid
I have both of these cut out, and am about halfway through sewing the first one. So on track to finish these by the end of the month.

2)Get the space bees quilt ready to be quilted
I have made the quilt back for this! I have everything I need to get this done now, I just have to set aside some time.

3) Write two posts talking about what I've been observing in the built and natural environment around me
"Let Us Not Abandon the Earth"

4) Post my fic
I've posted 5 of 6 chapters.

5) Job hunting
I've done a little bit of this, but I really should do more. This is what comes of not having quantifiable goals.

6) Work through lesson 10 8 in Classical Chinese for Everyone
I've gotten through lesson five. I started out doing a lot of review of vocab for lessons 1-4 and finished that up and did lesson 5. But I'm struggling to balance different aspects of langue study in a way that works. Writing things out takes so long! But I do enjoy just writing the same character over and over. I'm still experimenting with how much of witch types of exercises to do. Given that this going slower than I hope I'm going to set this goal at fewer seasons.

My goals for the month are going ok so far. How has your month been?

I think I talked with you on Twitter about Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger? Anyway, I started reading it this week, and I'm almost halfway through and LOVING it!
