GoodRead and my to-read list and pile

I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by my to-read list and pile. I have a pile of books I own or have borrowed, in fact there is more then one pile. There are two general fiction piles (because the 1st one was falling over) there is non-fiction pile, there is pile of books that are late in series but I don't have the earlier books, and small pile of Jewish non-fiction. All the piles live between the computer and the Thai floor chairs/pillows.
The I have my to-read list on GoodReads, which is currently 249 books long. 76 of those are non-fiction and I think the rest are fiction.
I've been keeping track of book recs for a while. I often read reviews ect on the internet that make me want to look into a book. I used to just add them to my Amazon wishlist, but I want to be able to use tags so I moved the list to Goodreads a few months ago. At the same time I figured out how to use the library's online catalog to order books. So I've been ordering the next few books off my goodreads list. Which I guess means that I'm getting trough the list much faster then I was, but I still feel overwhelmed. The are so many books. I must try and remember that this is a good thing.
Off to go read.
