Well, I was planning to working on some longer writing this morning, but I live in a part of the Bay Area that may be effected by a power outage starting at noon. (Some parts of Northern California have already had their power cut.) And that’s making me anxious and I’m having a hard time focusing longer form stuff, so have some links:

Oh geez, some of those signs! My town at least has marked bus stops. Even if the routes are irregular and most of the stops have, like, lawn furniture spray painted with the words BUS STOP CHAIR on them. *cough*

Power outage solidarity! This whole thing is super stressful. Supposedly it won't be affecting where I live, but it's shut down my business production space, so that's fun >.>

Ugh at PG&E - I hope nothing too disruptive happens to you. (Supposedly neither our house, schools, nor my work should be affected this time, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it's our "turn")

That's such a nice interview with Zen Cho! It's lovely to hear a well-known author not only talking about their love of fic but delving into specific recs and tropes. (And it's reminded me that The True Queen is gonna be out in paperback soon and I need to get hold of it.)
