I finally got caught up with this, and enjoyed it!

I’m not sure yet what I think about Adora being a first one. It depends on how hard they lean in on the choice thing. What I’d really like to see another character raised in the hoard also make Adora’s choice, so as to reinforce the idea that she not special. They certainly where leaning into the the theme choice in the last two episodes.
I’m sad about Angella. I mentioned that I was watching this on twitter and someone warned me that it might upset me -- it's so nice that people pay attention to my quirks and try to help me! Anyways given the warning I went and got some spoilers and so I knew she was going to sacrifice herself. So I was braced for it. But I’m still sad. Also I thought she was way too hard on herself in her final speech. I wanted to hug her and tell her that she was doing her best all those years.
