Well June is over and I successfully listened to a new song everyday! Thanks to everyone who recommended songs to me. I've taken all the songs I've heard so far and made a play list that I've been listening to when I clean up after dinner. I may prefer listing while I have something to do to the focused listening to this song is the only thing I'm doing right now.

It was really great to get recs form so many people. And reading about all the different ways music mattered to people made me feel like I didn't have to have all the auditory processing skills or music theory to enjoy music. People like music for a lot of reasons and I don't have to be good at all of them to find things to enjoy about a song.

I still have a lot of song recs left. I'm planning to take short break form listening to new music but eventually listen to everything. I think this project really helped me get better at music and I look forward to exploring it more.
