Music Project Update

So we are a bit more than halfway through June and I wanted to write a bit about how my new song everyday project is going. So far it's been really lovely. Thank you so much to everyone who left recs! Just reading through everyone's thoughts on songs they liked and why was really fun and helpful. I still have room for some more recs if anyone wants to leave some -- and if do end up with more songs than I need I'll still listen to rest of the them.

Music can be so pretty in so many different ways! I am learning some music listing skills -- like how to pay attention and understand the lyrics. And I feel reassured that other people have to look up the lyrics too.

I've started a twitter thread about this project where I post which song I'm listening to everyday. I didn't start it until a few days into the project so its missing the first several songs, but its there if you are interested.

What an awesome project! I might co-opt it. :) Music used to really important to me, and at some point, I just stopped listening to it. I miss it, and would like to get back to it.
