Eating, Reading, Making

forestofgloryEating: I've been sick this week so I've been drinking endless cups of ginger tea. Also we went out to Chinese for lunch the other day an I had big bowl of chicken noodle soup. Great food for recovering.
Reading: Being sick has decreased my focus but I did reread "The Dark Lord of Derkholm" which I had forgotten the plot of --but the characters where just a wonderful as I remembered. Oh and now that I'm on the mend I started Crossroads of Canopy by Thoraiya Dyer which I'm enjoying so far.
Making: Be doing a pit of piecing for a quilt I've been working on for a long time. I sew a few blocks a month an then go work on another project. But someday my friend will have a nice lap quilt with chickens on it.
