July Goal Check In

It's the middle of July. Time to take look at how my goals for the month are going.

1) Finish the rainbow quilt. Stretch goal: finish the Space Cats quilt.
I have been having some problems with my sewing machine so this is going slower than I wanted. I took the machine to the shop so hopefully its fixed now and I can still finish the quilt this month.

2) Write two posts talking about what I've been observing in the built and natural environment around me

3) Read Five SFF shorts
I have read two

4)Short trip with my parents
This is happening in a week! We have done a little bit of planning, but are mostly letting my parents handle things.

5)Summer expedition with the kid
She's still attending summer camp this week so this will happen after that finishes. Today I went to make an appointment for the botanic garden that I want to take her too, but it turns out that appointments are no longer required. So hopefully we will go next week.

So I guess things are going ok. I've been working on my fic slowly and steadily and its now over 10k long, so I'm pleased with that. How is your month going?
