April Goal Check In

Well its the middle of April so its time to check in on my monthly goals an see how things are going. The first half of the month has been hectic so I am not as far along with these as I'd like to be at this point.

1) Finish the space cat quilt top
No progress on this.

2) Finish the quilt for baby N
I have finished quilting, made the binding and started sewing on the binding. So I'm almost done!

3) Sew the back of the Forest Quilt
No progress yet, I should be able to do this as soon as I finish the baby quilt

4) Write two posts talking about what I've been observing in the built and natural environment around me
I did one of these:Flower Watch

5) Read Five Online SFF shorts
I have read one.

6) Write one longer piece
No progress on this.

7) Work on fic at least 15 days this month
I have done 7 days so far. As I posted about before I finished a draft of my fic. I've gotten some good comments on it form friend and am working on editing it. I also reread the first two fics in the series to help me make sure I haven't made any mistakes.

8) Make a vaccine appointment!
I have not only made an appointment but I was able to get my first shot! A local mass vaccination site opened up availability for everyone over 16 early and I was able to make an appointment for last Tuesday.

Well I hope that the rest of the month is less hectic and that I'm able to finish all the things I wanted to get done.
