forestofglory: patch work quilt featuring yellow 8 pointed stars on background of night sky fabrics (Quilt)
Well since we are shelter in place and I have been feeling very anxious I've been doing a lot of sewing. So I thought I'd share some of my projects with you all.

I finished the shirt I was working on for the kid! Since I wanted another project I let her go through my fabric stash and pick something for me to make into another shirt. I've now got that all cut out and have even started sewing that. I think it will be really cute!

I've also started a new quilt. I decided to make a rainbow baby quilt! However it turned out that I didn't have any yellow scraps. So I had to buy some fabric and do a porch exchange with my mom to get enough. But its all cut out now. Should be fast to put together.

When I was buying yellow fabric there was really cool boarder print that was on sale. So I bought up the last little bit of that and I'm thinking of making a another scrapy quilt around that. I got some possible fabrics together for that.

I'm finding sewing super soothing right now. It's really nice to make things with my hands.
