R was very sick yesterday. He vomited in the morning, but I had to go help my parents get their new refrigerator. So I just made him some tea and figured he'd be ok, and my mother in law was around.

My parents needed someone to be there when the new fridge arrived. Plus all the stuff still in the old one needed to be removed. Luckily the deliver happened pretty early in the window we were given. The grossest part was having to clean under the old fridge -- there was stripe of icky black grime, and also a lot of dust. After the new fridge was delivered I had to wait an hour and put everything back in.

When I got back R was still vomiting. I got him something to drink and chilled for a hour. He started feeling worse, so called the advice nurse. They say to come in for an urgent appointment. So I drove him to the dr's. He ended up getting IV fluids. The nurse who put the IV in clearly didn't do IVs often and got blood all over the place. Also R said it hurt a lot. Anyways after the fluids he felt better, so we picked up his anti-nausea meds and went home.

I made some chicken soup for dinner and we had to miss his nephew's high school graduation.
