Nov. 22nd, 2013 08:44 amToday is the first day of my break. (Break doesn't technically start until tomorrow, but I don't have classes on Fridays.)
So today I am relaxing. I made a Thanksgiving shopping list, and I'm going to to clean up the house a bit, because my mother-in-law is arriving this evening, but I'm not going to do any course work. I'm going to poke the internet, and read a book. I'm finial going to start reading Ancillary Justice!
Break will be pretty busy. My mother-in-law (who is lovely) will be here until Monday afternoon. Wednesday we are going to a wedding, and Thursday is Thanksgiving. Plus I need to work on my GIS project.
Yesterday we had freezing rain. It was the 1st time I'd experienced that. All the cars and sidewalks were coated in ice, as it rained heavily. Then last night it snowed.
