Calls

R is out of town this weekend and I had paper due yesterday. Normally I ask him to prof read stuff for me, but as he wasn't around I called my mother in law to ask her. She was super happy to do so. Maybe I should ask her to prof read more. (I try to make sure everything I hand in is prof read by another human.) She was an English teacher at one point so is very good at proff read plus she seems to get a kick out of doing it.

Of course since I called my mother-in-law I also ended up having a nice chat with her. Good to get news form home. The neighbor's daughter (who catered our wedding) had twins! I'm hoping to get some pictures eventually.

And my friend M called me because she found several of the postcards I sent her hidden in her mail box. I sent her a post card ever week, but she is very busy so I don't talk to her much.

Now I feel very socialized even though I'm by myself for the weekend.

Good Things Right Now

After having a pretty bah week, I got lots done Thursday evening and Friday.

I am super excited for Thanksgiving! I'm going to cook all the things!I have a friend who is staying in town who will come celebrate with us.

The library. I walked over this afternoon and picked up more books. (I have been reading lots of children's books lately. The are helping with the stress.)

My sister doesn't have cancer! She found a lump in her breast, but it really is just a cist. I didn't even find out that people where worried, until I got an email tell me everything was ok.
