forestofgloryR is out of town this weekend and I had paper due yesterday. Normally I ask him to prof read stuff for me, but as he wasn't around I called my mother in law to ask her. She was super happy to do so. Maybe I should ask her to prof read more. (I try to make sure everything I hand in is prof read by another human.) She was an English teacher at one point so is very good at proff read plus she seems to get a kick out of doing it.
Of course since I called my mother-in-law I also ended up having a nice chat with her. Good to get news form home. The neighbor's daughter (who catered our wedding) had twins! I'm hoping to get some pictures eventually.
And my friend M called me because she found several of the postcards I sent her hidden in her mail box. I sent her a post card ever week, but she is very busy so I don't talk to her much.
Now I feel very socialized even though I'm by myself for the weekend.
