Recent Cooking

I've been cooking a bunch the last few days. On Friday I baked Challah for the 1st time in months. I don't think I've made any since before passover. I've been worried about the kneading hurting my wrist but I iced it right afterwards, and it felt ok.

Then yesterday my brother had a big test for his martial arts class. So I wanted to make him something special. He suggested flan, but I've been wanting to use the kitchen torch we got as wedding present. So I suggested creme brulee which my brother happily agreed to. So I tried that for the 1st time yesterday. Using the using the torch was fun -- and everyone liked it.
