Today my honorary grandfather took me the California Academy of Science today. I haven't been since they re-opened a few years back. The new exhibits are great. My favorite was the Philippine coral reef. It was just so bright and colorful and alive. We also saw then planetarium show which was ok -- but more like a movie then a planetarium. I think planetariums should show you the sky. The rainforest dome was neat too thought it felt a bit cobbled together -- I guess that is what happens when you try to cram all the rainforests of the world into one dome. My favorite bit of that was the fish at the bottom. They where so big and slow. There was also a tunnel under the dome where you could watch the fish from.
