I've been cleaning out my closet. I found a shoe box for all my lose photos, got rid of a bunch of crappy hangers. Some toys went to live in my niece's toy box. I got rid of some stuff I never use. I cleared another shelf of the closet to put books on -- which reduced the piles on my bookshelves by a small amount.

I'm generally an anti-stuff person, so I'm happy to have gotten rid of some stuff. There is still a lot of stuff I can't get rid of. Some of it was given to me. Some of it has sentimental value (A blanket I used to carry around with me -- in rags now, all the clothing made for me by my mother, my good luck Darth Vader) Some of it I made (various blacksmithing projects, some giant ritual goblets an, artsy-cast iron cauldron.) There are even a few things I am keeping because they might be useful (Manuals, screws and other parts, cords, a spray bottle)

So my closet is in better shape then it was, and I have less stuff, but I still would really like another bookshelf.

So I actually went to IKEA and looked at bookshelves. Nothing they have fits very well into the space I have. Also bookshelves are expensive. Other places I poked around at online seem even more so, with out really having better sizes. Still pondering the options. Any advice would be welcome.
