My Saturday

forestofgloryYesterday I hung out with my parents and a bit latter my niece. First my dad came and picked me up, and we went to the farmers market. The Saturday Market is the biggest Berkeley Market so it is exciting to go once in a while, even though I generally go to the Thursday Market. We got Strawberries and Peaches, and some other produce.
Then my sister dropped my niece off, and we drove out to Brentwood to pick berries. (We had hoped to pick cherries, but due to the drought there weren't any.) We stopped at u-pick strawberry place, and my Dad a Lucy picked for about 20 min. Then we all picked blackberries.
Then we drove home and when out to dinner with my niece. We went to an Italian place about 10 min walk form my parents house. Service was very slow and my niece wasn't happy about that, but the food was good. I took my niece back home while my parents waited for the check. I was able to get her into her PJs before my parents got back.
