These are books in my house right now that I haven't read yet. I even have to read shelf, a luxury brought to me by the fact that most of the books I own still live in my parent's house. (I'm only including fiction, because I'm lazy, and also because I'm not going to have time to read non-thesis related non-fiction for while.)

Books I own:
Solitaire by Kelley Eskridge

A Stir of Bones by Nina Kiriki Hoffman -- I've had this for a while but can't decide if it would be ok to read before A Red Heart of Memories

Mending the Moon by Susan Palwick -- new Susan Palwick, yes!

Precursor by C.J. Cherryh _- I read the 1st three Foreigner books, and I haven't been in the head space for Cherryh in a while.

Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie -- everyone on the internet is talking about this, and it sounds so good!

Fever Season by Barbara Hambly -- this the 2nd Benjamin January book which I picked up for 50 cents at books sale on the theory that I'll read the 1st one some day.

Still Forms on Foxfield by Joan Slonczewski -- my mother-in-law just bought be this for no
reason! I've been wanting to read it for ages, but it is out of print. My copy is a rather beat up paperback.

(13 non-fiction books which I'm not listing individually, see above)

From the library:
The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri

The Far West by Patricia C. Wrede -- these have a problematic erasure of Native Americans, but I read the 1st 2 and I want to know how it ends.

Heaven to Betsy & Betsy in Spite of Herself by Maud Hart Lovelace -- two books in one volume, I only read the 1st few of these as a kid.

Rashi's Daughters, Book I: Joheved by Maggie Anton --Historical fiction about the daughters of a well know Jewish scholar, don't know if it is any good by the premise interested me.

Railsea by China MiƩville

The War at Ellsmere by Faith Erin Hicks - comic by the creator of the wonderful Friends with Boys.

Alcestis by Katharine Beutner -- for my online book group.

Kat, Incorrigible by Stephanie Burgis -- new kids fantasy for me to try.
