forestofglorySo FOGcon was awesome! I'm having a hard time breaking it down enough to write some thing useful here. I didn't really know anyone there so I was kinds shy for parts of it. But epershand was super friendly and inclusive on Friday when I was most feeling shy. Then by then end of the con I was feeling much more comfortable and social and really enjoyed talking to people. It was nice to be in a social situation where I felt what my employment, education ect didn't matter much as I spend a lot of time feeling self conscious about those things.
I had lunch both days with fun groups of people who I hadn't know before. It was really nice to be invited along and I enjoyed talking to people.
All the panels I went to (and I spent most my time at panels because I wasn't quite sure what to do with myself otherwise) where fun, and many where excellent and gave me a lot of think about.
