July Goal Wrap Up and August Goals

It's August already so it is time to look back and my goals for July and then set some new goals for August

1) Finish the rainbow quilt. Stretch goal: finish the Space Cats quilt.

We went to a botanic garden! And explored a greenway!

So I succeeded at all my goals for the month. I also made some progress on my fic, and went on birthday hike with a friend. I feel pleased with my accomplishments for July.

1) Finish the Space Cats quilt.

2) Finish a draft of my fic and get it ready for beta
I haven't wanted this fic to be a goal before, but now I'm so close to done! I have about three scenes left to write, and I want to push through to the end. If things go really well I might even be able to post some of it this month.

4) Write two posts talking about what I've been observing in the built and natural environment around me

5) Start of school!
My kid's school starts Aug 16, and I think it will be an adjustment to get into the swing of things again. So I'm planning for that to take up some time and energy.
