Wow, apparently a lot people felt like April went by really fast after March took forever? Well me too! So its time for another goal post.

1)Sew the two quilt tops I have cut out
These turned out to be supper fast. I'm going to have to make some more quilt tops like that.

2)Sew a dress with the fabric the kid picked out
Well I didn't finish this, but at least I made some progress since the last check in. The dress is now cut out.

3)Post the fic I'm working on
Yup, did that!

4)Read five online SFF shorts
For the first time in couple of months I did this! Yay!

5)Passover
Gosh, was that a few weeks ago? It feels like much longer.

6)Fanwriting Project AKA Five Fandom 5+1s and a Meme
Complete! You can see all the posts at the tag

It's good thing that I write these goals down because I feel like I got nothing done last month, but actually looking at the list I did a lot.

Last month I ended up finishing some of the things early so thing month I going to try having couple of stretch goals, and see how that goes. This will be another moth sheltering in place, but we are starting to get into a routine now, so I have better sense of what I can do.

1) Write three themed rec lists (four for a stretch)
These will be kind of like what I do for Short & Sweet, but can include any media instead of just short stories. I'm think one of these will focus on interesting built environments, but I'm not sure about the other two. I'm very happy to take some suggestions for themes people would enjoy.

2)Write two posts talking about what I've been observing in the built and natural enviroment around me
I still want to write more about these topics and am not sure how to approach it, so rather that try an write some deep thoughts I'm just going to focus more on writing about what's going on around me.

3)Finish the dress for the kid
Hopefully I can overcome new pattern blahs and get this done

4)Sew backs for the two quilt tops I finished in April
I have order fabric for pick up at my local fabric store for this! Quilt back are pretty fast to sew because they are just one fabric with a few seems -- or at least that's how I do them most of the time.

5)Quilt the wedding present quilt
Quilting is the part where you sew all the layers together. I have everything need to do this but its pretty time consuming still I want keep working on and get this done!

6)Attend virtual WisCon!
I was very excited to go to WisCon this year and am sad the in person con isn't happening but there is going to be some kind of online event the details of which aren't out yet so I'm going to do as much of that as I can. Maybe I'll even get to be on a panel.

7)Read Five Online SFF shorts(stretch goal read ten)
My TBR has been growing so I'm hoping to read some fun stuff this month

I also have some on going projects that I don't want to make goals for because I think that would make them less fun, but I'm going to mention them here briefly. I'm slowly working on another quilt top with more of my scrap fabric. And I might write some more fic, we shall see!
