So last night was the start of Sukkot, the Jewish Festival of booths. This a really excellent holiday that I didn't learn about until I was an adult. It involves building things and spending time outside.
R and I were able to put together a Sukkah form bits of wood lying around here and at the neighbors, and some bamboo we bought an the plant nursery. It somewhat rickety, and the walls are all different heights, but it is supposed to be like that. We had dinner out there last night, and it just about fits the card table and three people.
