Good Things
Feb. 11th, 2014 08:17 amI'm feeling quite stressed about my thesis just now. So to help myself feel better here is a list of good things.
- Libraries, and the pile of library books I have on my too read shelf
- I bought new bookshelves -- they are still in flat packs on the wrong floor, but more bookshelves!
-cosy things to wear indoors. I have tons of lovely high tech wool socks, and yesterday I recused an old sweatshirt for my parents house. Feeling much more cosy.
- I'm doing ok at a month of letters. (I haven't mailed something every day, but I have written something.)
- I made progress cleaning out the closet at my parents. I still have lot of stuff stored but yesterday I rescued a few things, threw out a few things, and added some things to the donation bag.
- tea, there is stove and kettle in the basement by my "office" so I can have tea when I like.
- We (Me, R and R's mom) have been doing a good job of planning dinners.
- our pod shipped, the rest of our stuff will be here at some point.

- Jim C. Hines is running as series of guests post about representation in fiction. The 1st two posts by Mark Oshiro and Katharine Kerr respectively are great.
